Ring in the Holidays Vashon Style

Join us uptown on Saturday, December 6, 2025 for a parade and holiday festivities for all ages.

3:30 p.m. Enjoy family story time and crafts at the Vashon Library. Join librarian Amelia for songs and books to kick off the holiday season.

5 p.m. The parade begins at Vashon Village and along with other parade participants Mrs. and Mr. Claus hosted by Vashon’s own Unofficial Mayor!

5:30p.m. (approximately): Following the parade, Santa will light the big tree by the Presbyterian church after a musical welcome and festive music from the VHS Band and Community Band.

6 p.m. Catch a free showing of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” at Vashon Theatre.

Make sure to stop by Vashon merchants before and after the parade to enjoy the holiday cheer. More details to come soon.

Drivers, note that Vashon Highway will be safely closed between 171st (Ober Park) & 178th (Vashon Theatre) from 4.30pm - 7:30 p.m. to allow for a fun and safe community celebration.
