CONCERTS IN THE PARK - THURSDAYS IN AUGUST

Concerts in the Park: This extremely popular and free outdoor concert series takes place every Thursday in August. All concerts start at 7:00pm and are held in Ober Park on Vashon Island. Enjoy live music performances from today's top talent in Rock, Roots Reggae, Big Band, High Energy Folk and more performing against one of Vashon's most beautiful outdoor backdrops. Bring the family! There's plenty of grass and natural berms to spread out those picnic blankets and enjoy some wonderful music on a warm summer night. Families can come relax, let the kids play on the playground and enjoy the entertainment at these summer events. The Concerts in the Park series is presented by the Vashon Park District.

Vashon Events has curated the music for Concerts in the Park since 2013.

STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL - JULY

Vashon Islands Strawberry Festival is a celebration of Vashon’s agricultural, artistic and cultural heritage and showcases all that makes Vashon Island unique. A classic car parade, one main performance stage, a variety of vendor booths, kids’ activities, local featured artists, and street dances are all part of the fun. Toss in a rocking beverage garden serving local spirits, pancake breakfasts and a fun run and you have an event that engages people all weekend. Because we are an island we create an event that you can linger longer than at other festivals, make a weekend of it and stay on Vashon.

Vashon Events curated the music for Strawberry Festival from 2011 up until 2022. In 2023, we handed the booking baton to two of our good friends Troy Kindred and Marie Browne.
