Down To Funk

band bio:

Down To Funk is a group of high school and college musicians with members from Vashon and Seattle who play funk music with elements of jazz and soul. Several members of the band have jazz training and all members draw inspiration from wide influences of both classic and contemporary artists. The music of Down To Funk is defined by tight rhythm and driving bass lines coupled with smooth saxophone melodies and strong, melodic solos. Down To Funk is currently working on finishing their first album which is expected to be released in late 2018/early 2019.
