ALLISON JONES, Co-Director
Allison Jones has more than twenty years of experience in nonprofit management and fund development. She has an M.Ed. in Adult Education and is a professor of grantwriting at several universities. Allison is also a professional musician-singer-songwriter and guitarist. Allison's duties for Vashon Events include fund development, financial oversight, executive administration, and oversight of First Friday Gallery Cruise promotion.
PETE WELCH, Co-Director
Pete Welch has a background in event management and has been booking live music and performance for over twenty years. Prior to founding Vashon Events, Pete was the production manager for a Seattle firm and produced music concerts for Island Earth Fair and a variety of other venues. Pete's duties for Vashon Events include social marketing and communications, publishing of advertisements, oversight of the music instrument library, and day to day operations.
RUBEN ARNOT, Music Instrument Library Coordinator
Ruben Arnot is the CEO of Rez Productions and has more than 20 years of experience in event production and management. He is a professional musician and bass player. Ruben coordinates the day-to-day operations of the musical instrument library, including checking instruments in and out, instrument maintenance, and inventory management.
