"VoV is excited to announce the return of its annual fundraiser, THE VOICE! (of Vashon), celebrating 26 years of community radio on Vashon. Join us Friday, October 17th at 6:30pm at Vashon Center For the Arts. This event is more than just a birthday bash—it’s an open call for local talent to step up, sing out, and support a good cause. And you get to vote!

Youth and Adult contestants will have the unique opportunity to perform for celebrity judges for prizes and performance opportunities, and compete for the coveted People’s Choice Award, chosen by the Vashon audience in-person and at home via YouTube live stream.

This is a free event with a variety of ways to donate. The evening will be emceed by local vocalist, Sarah Howard, with musical performance by the Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter, Isaac Slade, and appearances by some of VOV’s most entertaining cast of characters.
