Avalanche Awareness Class

The Vashon Park District will host a free Avalanche Awareness Class through the Northwest Avalanche Center (NWAC) on Saturday, December 9th, at 1 p.m. in the Ober Park Exercise Room. NWAC requests that attendees preregister at https://nwac.us/avalanche-awareness-classes/ . This 90-minute introductory session is designed for novice winter backcountry users and provides essential information for staying safe in avalanche terrain.
