🎉 Help Us Bring the Magic to the Kids Zone at Festival! 🚂🎨
This summer, we're turning up the joy for our youngest islanders at the Festival—and we need your help to make it unforgettable!
One of the most exciting additions we’re hoping to bring back is the Festival Train—a favorite among kids that offers free and equitable access for all. But here’s the deal: the cost of this magical ride is steep, and the Chamber is navigating rising Festival expenses across the board.
We’re calling on our Vashon community—friends, families, neighbors, and festival lovers—to help raise $4,000 to fund the Festival Train. Every dollar raised above that will be used to plant the seeds for an even bigger and better Kids Zone next year.
We believe in the power of our community to make this a people-powered effort.
What’s in store for Kids at Festival this year?
Ober Park will be buzzing with activity all weekend! We’ll kick things off Friday night on the Main Stage with the Reptile Man—a thrilling, educational experience for all ages. From there, the fun keeps rolling:
Bouncy Houses and Bungee Jumping
Inflatable Soccer & Water Walking Balls
Fun Nature Games with Camp Sealth & Face Painting with Girls to Girls
Fast Pitch & T-Ball (Sponsored by Colvos)
Dunk Tank at VIGA (Thanks, Parks Department!)
Mini Putt-Putt at Recess Lab (TBD)
Puppet Show at Vashon Theatre with Adam Ende
Interactive fun hosted by I Q and more popping up as Festival Fever spreads!
Plus, any business that hosts a Kids Event will be featured on our Festival Map (time permitting) and on our dedicated Kids Festival web page, putting them front and center with families all weekend long.
This is more than just fun—it’s about creating joy, access, and unforgettable memories for every child who joins us. Let’s work together to keep Festival magical, inclusive, and community-powered.👉 Donate today and help us put the “whee!” in community!
