The Vashon Unitarian Universalists Social & Environmental Justice Committee invites you to the 2nd Annual Summer Movie Series.

This year’s series focuses is on our First Nation’s Voices.

July 13 Dawnland -A story of stolen children and cultural survival: inside the first truth and reconciliation commission for Native Americans.

July 27 Bring Them Home /Aiskótáhkapiyaaya chronicles a decades-long initiative by members of the Blackfoot Confederacy to bring wild buffalo/iinnii back to the Blackfeet Reservation.

August 10 Promised Land Promised Land is a social justice documentary that follows two tribes in the Pacific Northwest: the Duwamish and the Chinook, as they fight for the restoration of treaty rights they've long been denied.
