Four Nights: July 9-12 (a different concert each night!)

PianoFête celebrates great piano music by bringing four internationally acclaimed pianists to Vashon Island for a week long summer residency. For PianoFête 2025, Fête curator and award-winning pianist, transcriber, and composer Vyacheslav Gryaznov has invited the outstanding pianists Rexa Han, Daria Kiseleva, and Konstantin Soukhovetski. Over four nights, pianists will take the stage in different combinations to present four distinct concerts, each with a unique program. With two concert Steinway grands on the stage in VCA’s Katherine L. White Hall, every seat has a “Keyboard View” while musicians play solos, duos, and piano four-hands.

The JULY 9th Concert will feature ALL FOUR pianists playing piano duos on two Steinway concert grands!

The JULY 10th Concert will feature ALL FOUR pianists playing eight hands on two Steinway concert grands!

The JULY 11th Concert will feature Vyacheslav Gryaznov and Rexa Han in a program delightfully titled Piano Dancing Cheek to Cheek, in which they will share the bench to play works inspired by the art of dance!

The July 12th Concert is PianoFête the Grand Finale. This year ALL FOUR pianists plus the Vashon Maury Chamber Orchestra take the stage for a cinematic ending, playing original arrangements of film scores like "Titanic," "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Schindler's List," and a tribute to James Bond. The evening ends with the gorund breaking and filmic "Jazz Suite" by Russian classical/jazz pioneer Alexander Tafasman.
