Carrie Jennings is a Seattle-based vocalist, flugelhorn player, and guitarist whose music blends melancholic lyricism with soulful horn lines and dreamy indie pop textures2. Her sound is both deliberate and sultry, weaving together introspective songwriting with rich instrumental layers that evoke emotion and atmosphere. Whether performing solo or collaborating with other artists, Jennings brings a unique voice to the Pacific Northwest music scene, captivating audiences with her expressive style and genre-bending compositions.
Danny (West) Powers is a multi-talented musician, visual artist, playwright, and producer based on Vashon Island, Washington. Known for his creative versatility, he plays bass in the local brew-grass band Croaker, blending crisp acoustic grooves with harmonies steeped in 80s rock nostalgia. He also composes original scores for theater productions, engineers live sound for varied artists at multiple island venues, and sits on the board of directors for The Coop, a local arts and education nonprofit and performance space. His work adds a rich layer to Vashon’s vibrant arts scene, making him a cherished contributor to the island’s creative community (though his wife, Laura, is the real brains of the operation).
