Publish The Quest, the genre-blending ensemble born in the Pacific Northwest, continues to stir souls worldwide with a vibrant mix of Afrobeat, folk, rock, and thoughtful storytelling. At the helm is singer-songwriter Jacob Bain, whose lyrical finesse and musical curiosity have led the band to forge unforgettable collaborations across cultures and continents.
Their album, Then What!?, features powerhouse partnerships with artists such as Femi Kuti, Nneka Lucia Egbuna, and Vieux Farka Touré. From the infectious energy of “Gotta Keep Movin!” to the stirring message of “I Believe People Can Change,” the record is both a call to conscience and a dancefloor magnet.
Publish The Quest is as much a humanitarian project as a musical one. The band has toured throughout West Africa and Zimbabwe, donating instruments and soccer balls to children orphaned by HIV, and supporting creative arts programs like the Pakare Paye Art Center founded by legendary musician Oliver Mtukudzi.
Their live performances are an exuberant celebration of unity and rhythm, weaving together horns, strings, and percussive grooves. Though their sound is occasionally likened to acts such as Dave Matthews Band, Publish The Quest's global roots and social mission stand in a category of their own.
Whether you're listening from your living room or caught in the sway of a crowd, Publish The Quest wants you to do more than just move—they want you to engage, reflect, and connect. Their music isn’t just entertainment; it’s an invitation.
