Kinski is a Seattle-based rock band known for their explosive blend of noise rock, space rock, and psychedelic drone. Formed in 1998, the band quickly carved out a niche with sprawling instrumental compositions and a sound that’s been described as “Sabbath in a washing machine during a power surge.” With releases on Sub Pop, Kill Rock Stars, and Comedy Minus One, Kinski has evolved from hypnotic soundscapes to heavier, more dynamic terrain, drawing comparisons to Sonic Youth and Neu! They've toured with Acid Mothers Temple, Mission of Burma, and even opened for Tool, delivering live performances that blur the line between precision and chaos. Now a power trio—Chris Martin (guitar), Lucy Atkinson (bass), and Barrett Wilke (drums)—Kinski continues to push boundaries, most recently with their 2025 album Stumbledown Terrace, recorded with Tim Green, capturing the raw intensity and emotional catharsis that defines their sound.

Patrons of Husbandry is a Vashon Island-based alternative rock band formed in 2023, featuring Rusty Willoughby, Scott Boggan, Ethan Cudaback, and Jeff Roeser. Their sound—alternately hypnotic, poppy, hazy, and groovy—echoes the legacy of Rusty and Scott’s earlier Seattle bands like Pure Joy, Room Nine, and Flop, while channeling the misty mood of the Pacific Northwest. Fueled by Colorado Kool-Aid and Washington’s finest, the band embraces a playful ethos of time travel and shape-shifting. Their name was inspired by historical materials found at the Vashon Grange Hall, a nod to the 19th-century fraternal organization for farmers.

Whiting Tennis is a Seattle-based singer, songwriter, and visual artist whose music blends introspective lyricism with lo-fi textures and Americana-infused rock. Known for his evocative songwriting and home-recorded albums like Hello Dolly and Three Leaf Clover, Tennis has collaborated with a rotating cast of musicians including Kevin Warner (bass), DW Burnam (drums), and Barb Hunter (cello), crafting a sound that’s both raw and richly layered. His band projects—often recorded on vintage analog gear in intimate spaces—reflect a deep DIY ethos and a painterly approach to composition. Whether performing solo or with his band, Tennis brings a haunting, poetic sensibility to the Pacific Northwest music scene.
