"Soldiers of Song" charity film screening

Ukraine Defense Support is a nonprofit organization providing humanitarian and critical aid to Ukraine.

On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 6:00 PM, we invite the Vashon community to a special charity screening of the Ukrainian documentary film Soldiers of Song at the Vashon Theatre.

Soldiers of Song tells the powerful story of Ukrainian musicians who perform on the front lines during the war. Through music, they support soldiers, preserve Ukrainian culture, and bring hope during some of the most difficult moments. The film highlights the vital role of art and music in times of crisis and resilience.

This event is a fundraiser, and all proceeds will support humanitarian aid for Ukraine, specifically the purchase of portable power and charging stations. These resources are critically needed due to ongoing power outages and damaged infrastructure.

This screening is intended for audiences interested in arts and culture, global awareness, and community connection, and offers an opportunity to come together in support of Ukraine through film and conversation.
