Drama Dock Celebrates 50 Years of Live Theatre with a Spectacular Anniversary Gala at Vashon Center for the Arts
VASHON ISLAND, WA — Drama Dock proudly marks five decades of theatrical excellence on Vashon Island with a dazzling 50th Anniversary Gala — a one-night celebration honoring the past, present, and future of local performing arts. The event will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Vashon Center for the Arts, bringing together generations of artists, supporters, and theatergoers for an elegant evening of food, entertainment, and spirited celebration. Ticket options include a $125 Golden Ticket, which enters the attendee into a raffle to win a prize package! There is also a General Admission ticket for $65. Both are available at www.dramadock.org.
The festivities begin with a hosted social hour, inviting guests to connect over Drama Dock memorabilia, drinks and hors d’oeuvres by Gravy Vashon before the curtain rises on a dynamic retrospective performance.
This specially-curated showcase will highlight iconic scenes and musical moments from standout Drama Dock productions over the years, including Plaza Suite, Inspecting Carol, 33 Variations, Chicago, Cabaret, Urinetown, Rent, and more. The performance will be enhanced by archival projections, rare historical highlights from Drama Dock’s legacy, and appearances from special guest presentersand an extraordinary roster of Drama Dock artists and alumni, including:

Midway through the evening, guests will be invited to participate in a Raise-the-Paddle supporting Drama Dock’s continued artistic growth. Funds raised will fuel future productions, youth education programs, technical advancements, and new creative initiatives that elevate the performing arts on Vashon Island.
