In preparation for the Memorial Day Ceremony, the community is invited to set flags at the final resting places of veterans, honoring their legacy through simple acts of service. Bring a pair of gloves, a willing heart, and help us ensure every veteran's grave reflects the respect and appreciation it deserves.
Memorial Day Ceremony and Cemetery Walking Tours to Honor Veterans

The community is invited to gather this Memorial Day, Monday May 25 at 11am for a meaningful day of remembrance and reflection at the Vashon Cemetery. The event will begin with a solemn Veterans Ceremony honoring those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
Following the ceremony, attendees are welcome to participate in guided walking tours of the cemetery in partnership with the Vashon Heritage Museum. These tours will highlight the rich history of the veterans buried at the cemetery that have shaped our local community. Walking tours will be at 1pm & 2:30pm
This event offers a unique opportunity to pay tribute to veterans while also connecting with the area’s heritage in a peaceful and respectful setting. All are welcome to attend.
