No Strings Attached is Vashon's Supergroup, comprised of guitarist/vocalist Doug Pine, guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Loren Sinner, drummer/vocalist Wesley Peterson, harmonica player-without-peer Mike Nichols, and bassist extraordinaire Bruce Phares. Every one of these players are in demand, and have played with legendary Island groups such as The Great Divide, Sinner and the Saints, Tres Huevos, The Allison Shirk Band, One More Mile, Tim Couldn’t Make It, and others too numerous to list here. It should be said that their playing in so many bands has nothing to do with reliability or their ability to make nice with other musicians.

No Strings Attached brings you acoustic renditions of songs from the Grateful Dead, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, Chris Stapleton, Ray LaMontagne, and many others. Songs that will fill you with nostalgia, make you laugh, and bring you to tears. Covers you’ll recognize and others that will surprise you, with the occasional original tune thrown in.
