Artist Reception: July 3, 5-8pm

Join us for the Artist Reception of Round #1 of the 9th Annual Vashon Summer Arts Fest on Friday, July 3, from 5–8pm. The first exhibition round brings together an inspiring group of artists working across a variety of mediums and styles. Featured artists include Margie Amstrup, Brian Brenno, Denise Dion, Barbara Dusty Gustafson, Brent Flora, Shelley Hanna, Diane Kulju, Jill Rickabaugh, Laura Wait, and Pamela Wickard.

Visitors are also invited to explore the Gallery Shop, featuring Three Potters Studio with work by Liz Lewis, Marla Smith, and Karen Fevold. Their art will be in the Gallery Shop for the month of July.

Summer Arts Fest is a beloved annual celebration of Vashon's creative community, featuring three rotating exhibitions over the course of the summer and showcasing the remarkable talent of artists who live and work on the Island.

Meet artists and celebrate the start of another exciting season of local art. Admission is free and all are welcome.

FUTURE SHOWS:

Round #2 opens July 24. Exhibiting artists include Darsie Beck, Kassana Holden, Yulia Ivachchenko, Rachel LordKenaga, Janis McElroy, Logan Price, John Schuh, Jeff Good, Jeanne Marie Thomas, and Barbara Wells.

Laurie Thorpe will be in the Gallery Shop for the month of August, opening Aug 7.

Round #3 opens, August 14 and features features work by Darsie Beck, Sara Barry, Alexis Czaplinski, Gregory Foster, Bob Horsley, Tyler Kaltreider, Rachael Osborn, and Eddy Radar, as well as prints from the The Big Print Show,

Together, these artists and exhibitions offer a vibrant finale to the 2026 Summer Arts Fest.
