Jigsaw Chamber Music Ensemble at VCA

Vashon Center for the Arts is delighted to welcome Jigsaw Chamber Music Ensemble for its first performance on Vashon. Seattle’s hometown chamber ensemble, Jigsaw is known for “listening outside the box,” pairing beloved chamber music repertoire with bold, thought-provoking works that invite curiosity, conversation, and joy.

Jigsaw Chamber Ensemble’s program in November will see its largest formation yet! Book-ending this concert will be Argentinian composer Osvaldo Golijov’s nonet Last Round and Felix Mendelssohn’s beloved Octet.

Rounding out the program will be Sarah Gibson’s duo for soprano and double bass Family Recipe for Biscuits, British composer Frank Bridge’s wholesome Two Old English Songs, and Anna Clyne’s hauntingly gorgeous setting of poetry by Emily Dickinson in Between the Rooms.

Join us for two special Sunday afternoon concerts at VCA: November 15, 2026 at 3pm and again on March 14, 2027 at 3pm.
