Vashon Island’s Strawberry Festival® , presented by Vashon Chamber of Commerce, is a joyful, quirky, community‑powered celebration that takes over the whole town each July, blending small‑town charm with big‑festival energy. For three days, the island fills with live music, parades, local artists, food booths, beer gardens, classic cars, and thousands of happy people wandering through the streets. It’s the kind of event where you’ll see kids dancing in the road, neighbors catching up over strawberry shortcake, and bands playing everything from rock to reggae to folk. The whole island feels alive — festive, colorful, and unmistakably Vashon — a tradition that’s been bringing people together for more than a century.
