Please join us Friday, March 13 at 7:00 pm for the nationwide Refugee Shabbat sponsored by HIAS.

HIAS’ Eighth Annual Refugee Shabbat brings Jewish communities together to honor and uplift refugees, asylum seekers, and displaced people, and to recommit ourselves to this important work.

We are honored to welcome Tshishiku Henry, Washington State’s Refugee Congress Delegate.

Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tshishiku arrived in the U.S. as a refugee in 2018. He now works at Jewish Family Service, supporting newly arrived families as they rebuild their lives. His lived experience and advocacy bring a powerful voice to our community.
