Open Space for Arts & Community
First session Sunday, April 12th
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Program Overview

Robotics for Teens is a two‑part series designed to teach the electronics, programming, and embedded‑systems fundamentals behind real‑world robotics.

Eligible students: Middle school to age 17

• Part 1: Microcontroller Fundamentals

Students learn the physics of electronics, explore components, Ohm’s Law, and Kirchhoff’s Law, and apply these concepts through microcontroller programming.

Tuition: $750 per student

Duration: 4 sessions

Dates: Sundays — April 12, April 19, May 3, May 17

Class Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Optional Lab: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

• Part 2: Applied Robotics

Students review the fundamentals from Part 1 and use them to build hands‑on robotics projects that require motor control, sensor input, and serial communication. The course concludes with a student‑led project presentation.

Tuition: $1500 (includes Part 1 tuition)

Duration: 4 sessions

Dates: Sundays — May 24, May 31, June 7, June 14

Class Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Optional Lab: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Registration of Part 2 is not required. Part 1: Microcontroller Fundamentals is a prerequisite to take the Applied Robotics course. Students have the option to advance to Part 2 immediately after Part 1 or they can finish the series at a later date.

Tuition must be paid by the first day of class.
