Join us at the Black Cat Cabaret stage at Snapdragon Bakery and Cafe for First Friday jazz! The show starts at 6:00 p.m. Friday October 2nd with music by The Pohl Cats,a group of local Jazz musicians just returned from their tour of fabled southern Vashon Island. The Pohl Cats perform the music of Monk, Miles, Mingus, Jobim, Rollins and other jazz giants as well as classics from the Great American Songbook. The band includes Richard Person on trumpet and flugelhorn, Gordy Ryan on congas, Tom Wilkins on piano, Van Crozier on tenor sax and John Stanton on bass.
